Baritone (バリトン)^? is a member of Trio the Minor along with Bassdrum and Falsetto from Suite Pretty Cure♪. He is the trio's leader in episode 26 and 27.

Bio

Appearance

Baritone is a young man with a light-purple cape that extends to his feet. The cape has a feathered, flowing texture. He has light-blue hair. He wears a light-blue collared shirt or robe underneath the cape.

First Upgrade

He has a purple marking on the left side of his face, which resembles half of a heart.

Second Upgrade

In episode 37, Falsetto gives Bassdrum and Baritone new monstrous forms.

His hair is a whitish-blue color and looks somewhat like a lizard. He also gains a white cape with shoulder pads, grows to at least 7 feet, and has what looks to be a long white tail. Being a narcissist, he cries when he sees himself in this form.

After becoming good, he wears a white ruffled shirt and a blue vest over it with matching pants. He has a short white cape with a jabot and a blue brooch on top. He also has a thin brown belt with a sword scabbard on his left hip.

Personality

Like the others from Minor Land, he can't stand happy music and cringes at the sound of it. He cares about his appearance, especially regarding hair and skin care. He also frequently did Siren's nails.

As part of the trio, he acts cool and cold but still a follower of the group. Before Falsetto took over as a leader, he frequently squabbled with Bassdrum over their next course of action. After he and Bassdrum were demoted to lackeys, the two developed a stronger bond and acted as a duo.

Relationships

Trio the Minor: They argue many times while still spending time together as a trio, and quartet when Siren was still their leader (going cherry blossom viewing, to a café, to the beach, etc)
Bassdrum: They are always seen together after brainwashed Falsetto became the new leader. Bassdrum even scolded Falsetto for making Baritone cry.^SPC37
Falsetto: While annoyed with brainwashed Falsetto's attitude and demands (Baritone also has trouble adjusting to calling him "-sama"), he was impressed by his competence, still valued him as a friend and cried when he thought that Falsetto died.^SPC46

Baritone along with the rest of the trio were once the three musketeers that protected Major Land in the past, until they were controlled by Mephisto who was being controlled himself by Noise.

He and Bassdrum almost come to their senses, in ^SPC42, only to return to Falsetto for one episode.^SPC43 The two finally lose their monstrous forms before almost sacrificing themselves. They return where they save Cure Melody from Noise, and let themselves be devoured by Noise after he devours Falsetto who they still value as their friend.^SPC46 The trio remain as stone after Noise's defeat, but return to being the musketeers of Major Land after Hummy sings the Melody of Happiness.

Abilities

In episode 26, Mephisto gives the Trio the Minor new powers with his special earphones. Baritone's sense of sight has now been greatly enhanced, as he is now able to spot a Note very easily.

Trivia

Baritone had summoned the fewest Negatones, totaling to only two.
Baritone shares his voice actor with the Negatones from the same season.
He is one of the first to speculate that Siren might be Cure Muse only to be proven wrong later.
