Leva (リーヴァ)?, known as Riva in the English dub Glitter Force Doki Doki, is one of the members of the Selfish generals and deputy of the group, who appears later in the series with Gula.
Bio
Appearance
Leva is a tall man. He has grey hair, a 5 o'clock shadow beard, and wears make-up, which makes him look similar to a clown. He wears a top hat. He wears a puffy, yellow scarf around his neck. He has a green jacket with red cuffs on the sleeves, and a red shirt. He wears gray pants and there is a piece of purple fabric around his waist. He has black boots with purple accents. There are yellow bands around his ankles.
Personality
Leva seems to like pranking the Selfish trio by ordering them to search for Princess Marie Ange, but sometimes he gets along with Gula when they do their work together.
Relationships
- Gula: His work partner, who Leva has a good relationship with.
- Bel: His colleague, who resents him. Eventually, Leva is killed in the hands of Bel.
Etymology
Leva is named after Leviathan, a demon that represents "envy", one of the seven deadly sins.
History
Being Hired
As the King Jikochuu had seen how Marmo, Ira, and Bel had failed to protect Regina, who was badly hurt by Cure Ace, he hired Leva and Gula, to defeat the Cures this time. This made Ira, Marmo, and Bel angry.DDPC23
Attacking The Cures
While Makoto was helping Mana's family with a yard sale, two boys came to her to get her autograph. When Makoto refused, they became sad and wished that they could get her autograph. Suddenly, Leva appeared behind them, saying that it would be better if they got her autograph. Then, Leva and Gula summoned two Jikochuus out of their Psyches. Makoto then transformed along with Rikka and Alice. They started fighting. Leva used his hat as a cutter, but the Cures dodged it. Then Gula jumped into the battle, as he wanted to eat them, but Cure Rosetta performed Rosetta Reflection. Gula, with his sharp teeth, then ate it. The Cures were easily defeated, but suddenly Mana arrived, and was brave while facing the Jikochuus. Aguri, who had taken her Cure Lovead, then gave it back to her. Mana transformed, along with Aguri, who revealed herself to be Cure Ace. Cure Heart and Ace paired up, and they purified the Jikochuus easily. Feeling dissapointed, Leva and Gula left.DDPC23
Death
After many failures, Leva and Gula assured Bel that they would succeed, as they would take over the Oogai city with their plan. As their plan seemed to work, Leva explained that they have to build a Selfish tree, which could put people to sleep, and its black spheres would turn a human into a Jikochuu. The girls transformed to face Leva and Gula, along with the tree. However, the Jikochuu had taken their Pad and broke it, making the girls lose hope on winning. But Cure Heart cried out her feelings and once again regained her final hope together with her friends. This caused the Pad to recover and started working again, making five new weapons for the Cures. With these weapons, the girls performed Lovely Straight Flush to defeat the Selfish tree.
Leva, and Gula, with their powers are taken away
While the Cures were celebrating the win, Leva and Gula faced off Bel, who used his power to suddenly drain Leva and Gula's final powers, which caused Leva and Gula to die. As they died, Bel happily ate his lollipop.
Abilities
- He can throw his hat like a disc, which is sharp enough to cut through things.
- He has the same powers as the other members of the Selfish Trio. He can turn people's selfish thoughts into Jikochuus. He can also pair up with Gula, and summon a Jikochuu together.

- He also shares his English voice actor with Pop, a mascot from Smile Pretty Cure!.
