Numeri (ヌメリー)? is one of the Witch of Delays' servants from Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure.
Bio
Appearance
Numeri is a lavender and pink sea cucumber with wavy dark purple hair. Her eyes are turquoise, and she wears pink lipstick and eyeshadow. She wears a green shirt underneath a white doctor's coat.
After the fight against Butler, her bigger right horns is broken off.
Personality
She has a laid-back personality, and prefers subtlety in her attacks. She is also quite sarcastic. She cares a great deal for Chongire and Elda.
Relationships
- Witch of Delays: She is one of her servants, and her role is being her doctor.
- Elda: She has a soft spot for Elda, occasionally acting as a motherly figure and taking care of her when needed.
Etymology
The name Numeri is a Japanese word, meaning "slime".
History
Numeri bandages Chongire's claw after he accidentally cuts himself while cooking. Due to Chongire's injury, Butler tasks Numeri with gathering Motivation power in his place. However, her Yaraneeda is defeated and she returns empty-handed.TRPC04
Numeri is the first villain to witness Cure Flamingo's transformation, after creating a totem pole Yaraneeda.TRPC05
Numeri figures out that Laura is the Cures' ally, and devises a plan to steal the Mermaid Aqua Pot, which Chongire accepts.TRPC16 She and Chongire successfully defeat all four Pretty Cures, only to lose when Laura transforms into Cure La Mer.TRPC17
Numeri comforts Elda after she ran away from home. She gives Elda her emergency stash of Motivation Power so that Butler won't scold her.TRPC34
When Coral, Papaya, and Flamingo invade the mansion, Numeri transforms her stethoscope into a Yaraneeda to fight them. She is shocked to learn the truth about the Fool's Casket and is horrified when the Butler turns Chongire into a Yaraneeda.TRPC43
Her Motivation Power is drained by Butler Yaraneeda.TRPC44 However, she quickly recovers, having not had much Motivation Power in the first place, and joins Chongire and Elda in opposing Butler. She sides with the Cures to fight the kowasundas, deploying a tentacle attack from her stethoscope. She is injured in the fight and breaks one of her horns. When she escapes the collapsing trench by grabbing onto the bottom of Grand Ocean, she carries Elda under her arm to protect her. She bids the Cures farewell before she leaves.TRPC45
She and the others see Laura for the last time, where she asks them to tell her about Manatsu and the others if she ever comes to them in the future. She is last seen working as a doctor, living with Elda and Chongire in the now ruins of the Witch's mansion.TRPC46
Abilities
- She can use her stethoscope to shoot out tentacles to bind and trip her enemies.
- Yaraneeda Summoning: Like her comrades, Numeri is able to summon Yaraneedas by throwing a ball of dark energy at objects to steal Motivation Power from humans.
- She is a qualified doctor.

- Numeri shares her voice actor with Kashiwada Mayu, a minor character from Futari wa Pretty Cure and its sequel, Ueshima Sayaka, a minor character from Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, Hiro Takuma, a minor character from Happiness Charge Pretty Cure! and Kedary, a villain from Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure.
- According to the Animage January 2022 issue, Numeri's voice actor, Watanabe Akeno believed that Numeri was a sea slug until she received the script and learned that she is in fact a sea cucumber. She and Chongire's voice actor also had to be directed to sound less motivated in order to fit their characters.
