The Magic Wands (魔法の杖)? are essential tools for the students of Magic School and magicians from the Magic World, used to perform spells in Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure!.
Appearance
Each wand is very basic, composed of a stick of various material and adorned by an ornament, usually on the top that matches the user in shape or color.
The students of Magic School use a white stick with a colored gem ornament on top, for example; Emily, Kay, and Jun have an orange club, a green clover, and a blue diamond. Other possible shapes range from spheres to crescent moons and bows.
Mirai and Liko have pearl wands with four tiny gems nearing the top, beneath a bow that has a droplet hanging from it. The bow and droplet are pink for Mirai, purple for Liko. On the top is a crystal heart for Mirai, and a star for Liko.
Liz has a slightly different wand, hers being brown with a gem at the bottom.
Uses
The magic wands are used by the students of Magic School to perform magic spells.
These wands can also be inserted in the Linkle Stick to perform attacks used by the Pretty Cure.
History
In the Magic World, whenever a new person is born as a magician, a magic wand sprouts from one of the Wand Trees and is sent to them. So far, the only exception is Asahina Mirai, who hails from the No Magic World. Her wand was born in response to her desire to help Izayoi Liko.
Abilities
To cast a magic spell with the magic wands, the user must say the phrase, "Cure Up・RaPaPa!".
