The Pre-Kit Book (プリキットブック)? is a book given to Akechi Anna and Kobayashi Mikuru in Meitantei Pretty Cure!. The device was invented by Jett-senpai, and he hands them over to Anna and Mikuru once he accepts them as Star Detectives.
Appearance
The Pre-Kit Book is a cerise book with gold lacing on the top and bottom of the cover. In the middle is a big rectangle with pastel rainbow stripes, gold lines, and gold sparkles. On top is a scalloped rainbow mirror with pastel pink trim with its cerise handle shaped like a ribbon with a gold heart brooch, and a tie like extension that also has gold split and diamond, and a golden tail beneath. In the middle is the season's insignia: a heart-shaped question mark with a ribbon and a two-layered necktie that has an oval and chevron trim adorned with a purple crystal heart in the middle. Around the ribbon and necktie, there are two swirled curves and two sparkles on each side. On top of the mirror is a gold crown with a red gemstone inside. On either side of the mirror handle are gold flowers and various shapes scattered around it. The shapes consist of a purple star, green triangle, and a pink circle towards the top, and a magenta triangle, a blue star and a green circle towards the bottom.
On each corner of the frame is a gemstone. The top right one is purple and circular, Cure Answer's shape. The top left one is pink and rectangular, Cure Mystique's shape. The bottom right one is blue and diamond-shaped, Cure Eclair's shape. The bottom left one is white and droplet-shaped.
Along with the book is a pink pen with a magenta gemstone on top. On the front is a ribbon that matches the mirror handle on said book.
Uses
Anna and Mikuru use the Pre-Kit Books to write down notes on the suspects' alibis while doing their detective work. They can also use it like it's an ordinary book, such as asking Ieiri Shiruku to write her autograph in it.

- The Pre-Kit Book has a very similar design to the Majestic Chroniclon from Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure.
