The Time Flower
The Time Flower (タイムフラワー)? is a mysterious flower that plays a major role in Kibou no Chikara ~Otona Pretty Cure '23~. The flowers are currently blooming in the Cure Rose Garden. According to Nuts, they are a sinister plant.
Appearance
The Time Flowers start off as black and deep purple buds shaped in a spiral. When they bloom, they have eight petals, with the center resembling a clock face. Each odd petal features a black spiral. They are available in various colors, reflecting the color schemes of their users.
Powers
Upon blooming, each flower reactivates a power formerly wielded by a Pretty Cure. Upon receiving their former power source, the Cures go through a temporary rejuvenation into their teen years. For each Cure, the flowers will give off a different colored aura.
As seen with Nozomi, long-term usage of the Time Flower's power will result in fatigue. It was later revealed by Nuts that the Time Flowers are signs of destruction. Whenever they bloom, these flowers predict the ruin of nations or the eradication of life. With the Cures, the flowers serve as a time limit; once the flower has fully wilted, their life spans are cut short. These flowers are for foretelling the fall of a nation, or an extinction of a species.

- Both are flowers with magical properties.
- Both act as a countdown for certain individuals.
- Even though Kurumi transformed into Milky Rose almost as many times as Nozomi did into Cure Dream, and also activated her Time Flower an episode after Nozomi, she never experienced fatigue like Dream did.
- While Nozomi's Time Flower wilted in the end of episode 12, the rest of the Cures' Time Flowers' fates are unknown.
