Trio Dreams is the 11^th episode of Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪ and is the 1029^th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary

Inspired by the school broadcast, Uta and the others begin to think about their dreams for the future. To help Uta, who is having trouble deciding, Nana and Kokoro begin "Uta's Dream Search Project".

Major Events

• Team Chokkiri works together to fight the Idol Pretty Cure. As a result, Chokkirine attacks the Cures and summons a Makkuranda for the first time.
• The Cures transform together as a group for the first time. They also perform Trio Dreams and High Emotion for the first time.
• Meroron makes a brief appearance at the end of the episode.

Synopsis

At Hanamichi Middle School, the students are having lunch. The girls walk down the hallway while Uta sings. Purirun does the call and response part with her until a student, Niino Mio, runs in. She explains she's on her way to do the broadcast and hopes those like Kokoro can listen to it. Outside, Kokoro points at the speaker, explaining that this week's write-in theme is "My Favorite Song". Smiles In Unison♪ plays from it, much to Uta's confusion. It's revealed Mio read a letter which included the Idol Pretty Cure CD. Mio thanked Kokoro for submitting it, much to her delight. Just then, the speaker announces that the next theme is "What's your dream?". Uta processes this.

While Purirun eats a sausage, the girls talk about their dreams. Uta hasn't figured out her dream, so Nana and Kokoro help her brainstorm after school. The next day, at Cafe Glitter, Uta is full of energy. Hamori is confused until Uta reveals she'll work at the cafe with her family. Oto adores her wanting to writing this to the broadcast. Once it's dark out, Oto is wiping the benches. Uta asks if she's done and looks back at the cafe, learning that it was her parents' idea to run it. Oto is certain Uta has her own to follow, but she must treasure it upon discovery. Uta processes this before going to sleep.

The next day, Kokoro and Nana are shocked to see Uta acting different. She slept so well that she got stuck trying to figure out what dream she could pursue. She's so desperate that she ends up walking into a street post. Her friends begin what they call "Uta's Dream Search Project". Kokoro suggests Uta could be a pastry chef. This quickly motivates Uta until her mind goes numb yet again. As the girls keep suggesting occupations, they're incredibly exhausted with Uta's mind swings. When they suggest she could be an idol, Uta turns silent, as she's already one as a Pretty Cure. While she leaves, at sunset, Kokoro and Nana reflect on how much happiness Uta gave them as Idol. Meanwhile, at Team Chokkiri's hideout, Zakkuri notices that Cutty bought the Idol Pretty Cure's CD. They argue until Chokkirine wants complete silence, so they comply. Chokkirine decides to help them fight this time.

Uta walks Kyutarou, until she stumbles across Kaito. She tells him what she's going through, which he understands and reminds her that it's a natural process. He advises her to not chase it alone, which she takes to heart. Sshe stumbles across Nana and Kokoro, who offer her a job dictionary. Just then, Team Chokkiri appears and notices Mio and the broadcasting club. They sense their Kirakira and turn them into three Makkurandas based on speakers. Purirun senses this just as Uta is about to reveal her dream. The girls rush to the scene, where the Makkurandas are ripping trees apart. Uta is confident they can beat them, to which her friends agree and transform regardless.

The Cures proceed to confront Team Chokkiri, learning Chokkirine's presence. She chuckles and claims their lucky streak will end today. She makes the Makkuranda shoot a music note, which Wink blocks with her barrier. Idol thanks her, but the Cures are naive to Chokkirine, as the monsters all link and summon a bigger note which breaks through the barrier and injures the Cures. While Wink can't keep her ground, Kyun-Kyun uses her lasers while Idol punches the Makkuranda, but to no avail. Chokkirine makes the Makkurandas face each Cure respectively. They're all split up with Wink against Zakkuri, Kyun-Kyun against Chokkirine, and Idol against Cutty. With Wink, she doesn't realize the Makkuranda's microphone is in-coming, which hits her. With Kyun-Kyun, she is struck by an explosion. Lastly, with Idol, she hits the ground. She picks herself back up, until the Idol Heart Incom appears, which allows her to talk with her teammates, which was Wink's idea.

Just then, Idol has to deal with the Makkuranda. In the process, she confesses her own dream is to sing with her friends together. Her teammates feel the same and they come together. There, Idol successfully punches the Makkuranda away. Team Chokkiri is confused until the Cures decide to perform Trio Dreams and purify the Makkurandas with High Emotion. An orange Kirarun Ribbon then appears, allowing Purirun to wear it and please the crowd. With Team Chokkiri stunned, Chokkirine finds the battle interesting, while Zakkuri vows they won't be defeated next time, and Cutty won't let himself be stuck in brilliance. They retreat and the damages are reverted.

While the broadcasting team wakes up, Purirun admires the Cures' song. Idol feels "Kirakilala♪" having found her dream, and now, she can write it to the school broadcast. Wink and Kyun-Kyun tell her she can't. While they freak out, at the Heart Tree, a pink light appears, forming a familiar peach and cracking open to reveal a pink fairy with black pigtails. She flies out with a backpack and is determined to find Purirun - because she is in Hanamichi Town.
