A Very Strange Egg (不思議すぎるたまご Fushigi Sugiru Tamago)? is the 24th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 992nd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
All of the Kirarin Animals have returned, and Niko Garden is restored. The maker of the garden, Niko-sama, appears in egg form, and for some reason the egg comes to Iroha's room.

Synopsis
The group arrives at Niko Garden with the Kirarin Swan and Mey Mey is glad that all nine Kirarin Animals have now been recovered. After the Kirarin Swan eats some Niko Fruit and regains its strength, the nine animals return to their Kirarin Houses and give their powers to start restoring the Niko Diamond.
The combination of the Kirarin Houses' powers fixes the Niko Diamond and causes it to shine brighter than before. Mey Mey then says it's time to restore Niko Garden to its original glory, and the Kirarin Animals put their own powers together to revitalize it. The group is awestruck to watch the garden brighten and a giant rainbow stretch across the sky. The Niko Garden has been restored, and Mey Mey thanks the Cures for their help in making it possible.
Then, Yuki notices the Niko Diamond glowing once more and Mey Mey thinks that Niko is finally returning. The shining light descends and manifests itself into an egg before landing in Mey Mey's hands. The Cures notice that the egg has a horn, meaning that it's most likely Niko, but Mey Mey is left distraught wondering why she has taken this form instead of her usual one. Iroha assures that Niko should be able to hatch in the future, and the Kirarin Animals sing a song and dance around the egg, with Komugi joining in.
Mey Mey is glad that Niko is back regardless of her being an egg, and Satoru adds that maybe she'll tell them why she was an egg once she hatches. Komugi tries to touch it, but Mey Mey tells her to stop and vows to protect Niko until she hatches. However, the Kirarin Animals doubt that he can, but Mey Mey ignores them and imagines Niko praising him. Yuki starts to think he's only taking care of it to get Niko's praise, and everyone else appears to agree. While Mey Mey takes the egg to a safe place, the others take a look around the recovered Niko Garden with the Kirarin Animals.
As the Cures relax, Iroha compliments how lovely Niko Garden is. The Kirarin Animals then thank the Cures for freeing them from being Garugarus, but Yuki says she didn't intend to rescue them. The Kirarin Fawn points out that there are still some missing Niko Animals and shows them a baby gorilla who's missing its mother. Iroha promises the gorilla they will rescue his mother and realizes they still have work to do. Mey Mey announces that the tea party has begun and Iroha tries to get the gorilla to join them, but it prefers to be left alone. Everybody has fun at the party and Niko's egg glows in reaction to seeing them all so happy. Meanwhile, another Garugaru egg prepares to hatch.
That night, while Komugi and Iroha are asleep, Iroha is awakened by the flash of light and is shocked to find that Niko's egg has teleported into her room. While she wonders how the egg got there, Komugi also wakes up and is shocked by seeing it. Meanwhile, Mey Mey frantically looks for the egg when Iroha and Komugi arrive with it. Mey Mey is surprised to see Iroha holding the egg and Komugi explains that it just appeared in her room. However, Mey Mey insists that couldn't happen and even accuses Iroha of stealing the egg, but insists it did appear. As a result, Mey Mey boards up his windows and protects the egg while Iroha returns home to bed. That morning however, the egg appears again on Iroha's bed and they go bring it back to Mey Mey, who still can't believe that this keeps happening.
Iroha gets the idea that they should raise Niko in Animal Town, and Mey Mey shoots the idea down. He distraughtly asks the egg why it won't stay at Niko Garden, and Satoru thinks there might be a reason it wants to be in Animal Town instead. Mey Mey figures Satoru has a point and entrusts the group to look after the egg. Iroha isn't even sure what Niko will hatch into, so Satoru recommends that they should warm it. The pets gather around the egg while the humans introduce themselves to it. Then, they place their hands on the egg and it starts to glow, meaning that their warm thoughts are getting through to Niko.
Suddenly, another Garugaru eggs and the Cures and Satoru leave Mey Mey to look after the egg and Daifuku. They discover a gorilla Garugaru on a tower and figure out that it could be the baby gorilla's mother. After they transform, Wonderful calls out to the Garugaru, but it rips parts of the building apart and starts throwing them at the Cures. They manage to protect the nearby animals from the debris, but they can't get close to it. Then, Nyammy gets an idea and summons the power of the Kirarin Swan to give her the ability to fly. Wonderful and Friendy are unsure of her plan at first, but Lillian tells them to trust Nyammy.
Nyammy flies close to the Garugaru and holds out a branch with an acorn attached to it that the baby was holding earlier. The Garugaru recognizes the branch it used to play with its child with and reaches out for it. Nyammy and Lillian take this opportunity to purify the Garugaru with Amity Lumiere, turning it back into a Niko Gorilla before sending it back to Niko Garden.
The Niko Gorilla is reunited with her child and Komugi asks Yuki why she had the branch. Yuki just says she found it and picked it up, and Mayu giggles at her bluntness. Mey Mey is emotional seeing the gorillas reuniting and vows he'll never let Niko's egg go. As the group watches on, Komugi gets hungry so she and Iroha return home, only to find that the egg has once again returned to Iroha's room.
