Feelings Spun Together (つむがれる思い Tsumugareru Omoi)? is the 43rd episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 1011th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Mayu decides to hold a knitting class for her classmates. Zakuro happens to see this and is inspired to knit something for Gaou.

Synopsis
One day at school, everyone is shocked at seeing Yuki and Mayu wearing matching scarves. Yuki announces that Mayu knitted them, as Yuki is sensitive to the cold and this would help keep her warm. The other classmates also want their own scarves and they all ask Mayu to knit one for them too. However, Yuki tells them it takes a lot of work to make a scarf and they should make one themselves, but none of her classmates know how. Mayu then impulsively tells everyone she'll teach them how to knit.
At the end of the day, Mayu starts regretting her announcement and wonders if she could be a teacher, but the others remind her of all the great things she's designed so far. Mayu realizes that they're right and thinks it would be amazing if her knitting could bring others together. She decides that she will teach, but she also realizes she would need a lot of yarn. Then, Niko says that there's lots of it at Niko Garden, so the Cures pay a visit.
They arrive at Mey Mey's house, where he keeps lots of yarn, and Mayu is amazed at all the things he's crafted. The two bond over their love of knitting and imagine themselves making things while riding on top of balls of yarn. Then, Niko disrupts Mayu's daydream to remind her about the favor she wanted to ask, and Mey Mey allows Mayu to take as much yarn as she needs. Back at school, Satoru continues to translate Subaru's diary, thinking it could contain something important that can help the Cures.
Mayu starts her knitting class and once everyone has their yarn, she's ready to teach them all the basics. First, she shows them how to cast the yarn on the needles by demonstrating it and comments on how some of them are doing. Once everyone finishes that step, she starts teaching them how to make a basic garter stitch. She also fixes some of their stitches if they mess up. Kanie attempts to cut her yarn when she makes a mistake, but Mayu catches her. She also says she imagines the face of the person she plans on giving it to whenever she knits something and how she puts her feelings in every stitch. Hearing this inspires her classmates to put their feelings into theirs. Iroha then asks Mayu for help in including a rabbit on her scarf to give to Satoru for Christmas.
Meanwhile, Zakuro saunters into Animal Town while thinking about Gaou and notices a couple wearing a scarf together, which makes her feel jealous. She watches Mayu's class as they're finishing their scarves and wonders if Gaou would love a hand-knit gift, but she becomes conflicted because she doesn't want to learn about knitting from humans. Mayu's class finishes and everyone thanks her for teaching them, and she's glad that she could help. She and Yuki are about to leave when they spot Zakuro and decide to follow her.
Mayu and Yuki see Zakuro sitting on a rock and struggling to knit. Mayu overhears her mentioning Gaou and offers to teach her how to knit. She gives Zakuro some yarn and some needles and she asks Mayu why she's helping her. Mayu can tell Zakuro has feelings for Gaou and she wants to help spin them, even though Zakuro's an enemy. Yuki tries to interrupt Mayu, but she asks Zakuro what she likes about Gaou, and she nervously tells them her favorite features of his. Eventually, she starts gushing and swooning over Gaou, and Mayu can tell how much Zakuro loves him. Then, Yuki interjects by saying that thought she can love who she wants, it still doesn't change that Gaou harms innocent animals for his own gain, but Zakuro claims that he's kindhearted and cherishes his companions.
Satoru finishes translating Subaru's diary and reads how the villagers would drive the wolves away because they thought they were dangerous. He tried to convince the villagers that not all of them were harmful, but they wouldn't listen, which left him to wonder if humans and wolves would ever be friends. Satoru also learns that the wolf was Gaou, and Niko is surprised he had a human friend at one point. Meanwhile, Zakuro says she'll do anything for Gaou and crushes the needles in her hand. She reminds them again that Gaou wants to destroy the human world and leaves, and Mayu becomes concerned. Zakuro then goes to the crab tank in the shed and turns one of the freshwater crabs into a Gaogaon.
Komugi and the others meet up with Yuki and Mayu and after Satoru confirms the Gaogaon is a freshwater crab, the Cures transform. The Gaogaon then hides underwater, making it hard for the Cures to find it. Once it emerges from the water, it starts firing foamy bubbles at the Cures. They attempt to dodge the attacks, but Wonderful and Friendy slip and fall on them before the Gaogaon traps them in more bubbles. Nyammy attempts to attack the Gaogaon, but it also uses its bubbles to render her immobile. Lillian uses Lillian Net, but the Gaogaon cuts it in half with its claw. Lillian is shocked that she's now alone and her attack didn't work.
Lillian starts to become scared, but then she remembers how afraid and worried she was in the past that others wouldn't like her, and how she slowly wove and spun those threads together as she met more people. Now she has lots of friends and their connecting threads have given her strength, and she's no longer scared. She then uses Lillian Net again, but every time the Gaogaon would cut it, she would launch another to stitch the halves back together to strengthen the net, continuing until it's too strong for the Gaogaon to cut. She declares that fixing unraveled threads only makes them stronger. The Gaogaon starts running away when Lillian uses the Kirarin Panda's power to put it to sleep. After freeing the other Cures, they all purify it with Eternal Kizuna Shower.
After Niko heals the freshwater crab, Mayu asks Zakuro again if they could knit together, but Zakuro reiterates that they're enemies. Nyammy then asks her if Gaou would be happy if he were to destroy the human world, but Zakuro angrily declares none of them know Gaou and retreats. Satoru then tells everyone about how Gaou was the wolf Subaru had befriended and Mayu remembers that Zakuro told her that Gaou cares for his friends. She decides to get closer to Zakuro and Gaou and even if it's scary, she'll weave everyone's thoughts together and get a better understanding. The others agree to help Mayu, while Niko wonders if Gaou doesn't just have hatred in his heart.
