Search For Cure Nyammy! (キュアニャミーを探せ！ Kyua Nyamī wo Sagase!)? is the 13th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 981st episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Komugi and the gang set out to find Nyammy and discover her intentions when the scent of the compact Mayu designed leads them to Pretty Holic.

Synopsis
At the Niko Garden, the Cures discuss the appearance of Cure Nyammy. Mey Mey hopes that she can join the team someday, but Iroha remembers Nyammy telling them not to get in her way, meaning she most likely has her own agenda. Komugi suggests searching for Nyammy to ask her what her goal is, and Iroha quickly accepts the idea, with Satoru reluctantly joining in.
At Mayu's house, she tells Yuki about the mysterious girl who rescued her last night. She feels familiar to her, but the girl never revealed her name. Meanwhile, the Cures and Satoru starting looking for Nyammy, but they aren't sure how to start. Satoru thinks they should start with her outfit, and the Cures remember that she wears white. Komugi quickly finds a little girl dressed in white, but Iroha is skepctical at first. Satoru says it could be possible because how Komugi is Cure Wonderful. Without them knowing, Komugi goes up to the little girl and asks if she's Cure Nyammy. Iroha freaks out and covers Komugi's mouth before she could talk more. She then begs the little girl to keep Komugi talking a secret, and she agrees, much to Iroha's relief, but she tells her mother anyway after Iroha leaves.
The group continues looking for various white things, which even leads to Komugi interrogating a goat statue, but they still couldn't find Nyammy. Then, they remember that she has long white hair. Komugi then asks a horse named Arthur if he's Nyammy, but he has seen her. The group then rides in a carriage, which leads them to a lady and her Komondor, Motch. They figure she couldn't be Nyammy because her fur is too long, but the woman allows them to pet her and also explains how long it takes to groom her. Iroha and Satoru soon become distracted by the Komondor, but a jealous Komugi reminds them of their search.
They go rest on a bench when they are approached by Otsuru, Okame, and Oshika. Komugi recognizes a scent coming from Otsuru's purse and she takes out the compact that Mayu designed. Komugi absentmindedly says Nyammy's name, but Iroha covers for her again by saying she would act like a cat occasionally. She silently begs Komugi to meow, and she does, which amazes the three ladies. Satoru suggests that maybe Otsuru is Nyammy, but the other two also have the same compact. After they leave, Komugi tells them the compact smelled like when they first encountered Nyammy.
The trio then go to Pretty Holic, but they're already sold out of the compacts. Iroha is upset because she wanted one, while Satoru says with a lot of people owning one, it won't help them find Nyammy. However, Komugi notices that Sumire also has that same scent, prompting her to ask her if she's Cure Nyammy, but Sumire doesn't know what that means. They leave, but Komugi notices Yuki in the window and tries to talk to her in her usual spot. Komugi sniffs her, but it only makes her hungry, and she returns to Iroha and Satoru.
After a while, Komugi gets exhausted and they pause their search for the day. Satoru is sure that they'll see Nyammy soon if a Garugaru shows up. At the Mirror Stone, Mayu walks around it when she sees the strange girl again and imagines that she could be the same as the magical girl who rescued her earlier. However, the girl vanishes again and a flock of crows fly away from the forest. Komugi is also alert, meaning there's another Garugaru nearby.
Wanting to meet the mysterious girl again despite the danger, Mayu walks further into the forest. She finds a hedgehog Garugaru and recognizes its cry from the one before. She tries to walk away, but she steps on a branch, which startles the Garugaru and has it go after her. Then, Nyammy appears in front of Mayu and summons her shield to protect her. Komugi and Iroha transform, but are surprised to see Nyammy defending Mayu. The Garugaru is pushed back and the Cures meet up with Nyammy and Mayu. Friendy tells Nyammy that they want to talk with her, revealing her name to Mayu.
Suddenly, the Garugaru quickly rolls towards them again and they try to avoid its attacks, with Nyammy nimbly carrying Mayu. Satoru reaches the battlefield, but doesn't understand why Mayu is also there. Nyammy then uses one of the Garugaru's quills as a platform to help her and Mayu to safety. As they leave, Wonderful is surprised that Nyammy rescued Mayu, but there's no time to worry about that as the Cures have to rescue the Garugaru.
Outside the battlefield, Nyammy tells Mayu to go home and repeats that she mustn't get involved. Mayu thanks Nyammy for rescuing her, but she ignores Mayu at first. Then all of a sudden she approaches Mayu and brushes a leaf out of her hair before returning to the forest. Meanwhile, the Cures attempt to stop the Garugarus by summoning their respective shields, but neither of them slow it down. They then use the shields to have it roll back and forth, but they both eventually get knocked over. Satoru notes that the Garugaru might be based on a hedgehog because of its quills and the holes that it dug.
Nyammy rejoins the fight and gets the Garugaru's quills stuck in a tree. She's about to finish it up when Wonderful and Friendy stop her, wanting to know more about her. However, she orders them to let her go and claims Mayu wanted her to check up on them, but the others still want to be her friends someday. She ignores them and leaves, leaving them to rescue the Garugaru. Wonderful sees one of the downed trees and gets an idea. When the Garugaru charges at them again, Friendy summons multiples Ribbon Barriers to tire it out and Wonderful calls upon the Kirarin Bear, which gives her giant bear hands to lift the heavy tree to put between her and the Garugaru to slow it down. After it finally stops spinning, the Cures use Friend Liberale to purify it back into a Niko Hedgehog and sent it back to the Niko Garden.
That night, Mayu talks to Yuki about Cure Nyammy and wonders why she would always rescue her. Yuki could only watch Mayu, but unbeknownst to her, the charm on her collar has changed.

- Iroha breaks the fourth wall when she tries to save face in front of the elderly ladies by staring at the viewers, while trying to get Komugi to meow like a cat.
