Wonderful Forever~! (ず～っとわんだふる！, Zu~tto Wandafuru!)^? is the 50^th and final episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 1018^th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.

Summary

Reunited with Gaou, Subaru joins his friends and disappears into the light. The Pretty Cures see them off and then it's time to say goodbye to Niko and Mey Mey before they return to Niko Garden.

Major Events

• Subaru talks to Gaou, and is able to go to the afterlife with him, Zakuro, Torame, and the rest of the pack.
• Komugi, Yuki, and Daifuku lose their ability to talk and turn into humans.
  • The Mirror Stone gives the former ability back.

Synopsis

Everyone is shocked to see that Gaou has returned. Wonderful confirms she heard him howl and goes talk to Subaru. He begins crying at the sight of Gaou and he tearfully apologizes to him for being unable to keep his promise of protecting him and blames himself for Gaou's demise. However, to Subaru's surprise, Gaou tells him to lift his head.

Subaru is shocked to hear Gaou speaking, but Gaou apologizes to him for causing his suffering despite being with him. Wonderful also could tell Gaou was always by Subaru's side through his monsters' attacks, while Nyammy says his anger made him lose sight of what's most important. Subaru still feels regretful that Gaou wasn't able to protect the rest of his pack thanks to him. However, Gaou tells him there's no need to apologize and he's still his friend. He also doesn't harbor any anger or hatred because Subaru was by his side and that humans like him and the Cures would always do their best to help animals, and thanks him for his kindness.

Subaru reaches out to Gaou, but his orb cracks and his and Gaou's bodies start fading away, though Subaru still has a lot to talk to Gaou about. However, Wonderful hugs the two and brings them together, and everyone else soon joins in, and their combined hug restores their bodies. Wonderful then encourages Gaou to tell Subaru how he feels, and he nuzzles Subaru and says he's glad that they met. Subaru hugs Gaou and says he'll love him forever. Zakuro also hugs him and the flame in her orb goes out, turning her back into a wolf. The Cures are all extremely happy that the wolves have reunited.

Then, Torame and the rest of the pack appear, and Wonderful says how it's "wonderful" how everyone that they love is together now. Gaou and Subaru realize what she means and the flame in Subaru's orb also goes out. As his body starts fading again, Subaru, as well as Gaou and Zakuro, thanks the Cures for helping them and the go and reunite with the other wolves. Wonderful say goodbye to them as they run back to the afterlife and give one last howl. Animal Town is restored back to normal and the Cures are glad they've become friends with the wolves. Niko thanks the Cures for quelling the wolves and saving many animals as well. Iroha is glad that she's fulfilling her dream of becoming friends with all animals, while Mayu says though she was scared at times, there were happy moments too. Yuki simply says it wasn't bad, while Komugi thought being a Cure was wonderful. Niko also loved spending her days with the Cures.

Mey Mey then suggests they throw a wrap-up party at Niko Garden. However, Niko says they can't because their worlds weren't supposed to mix and takes back the Cures' powers. Everyone is shocked that they have to say goodbye so suddenly and Mey Mey doesn't want to leave yet. Niko then turns into a giant unicorn and uses her power to repair the Mirror Stone and open a portal to Niko Garden. All the animals thank the Cures for their hard work and the Cures thank them all back as Niko and Mey Mey return to Niko Garden and the portal closes. Iroha laments that they're all gone and she hears Komugi barking. As she looks around, Iroha sees that Komugi, Yuki, and Daifuku have turned back into animals and have lost the abilities to speak and become human.

The next morning, Komugi and Iroha go on their daily walk. As Iroha greets all the animals and they reach the shore, Iroha tells Komugi how energetic everyone is and lets out a "wonderful", but she's reminded of human Komugi and hesitates before returning home. Iroha then heads off to school and meets up with Satoru before saying goodbye to Komugi. She then tells Satoru how Komugi doesn't try following her like she used to, and Satoru thinks since Komugi has been to school with Iroha, she feels better knowing Iroha will be back. They stopped at the Mirror Stone and wonder what they would wish for, but Satoru can tell something is up with Iroha.

Class starts, and some of their classmates are discussing a story about a man who got lost in the woods and befriended a wolf. As Iroha, Satoru, and Mayu watch, Satoru theorizes that someone found Subaru's diary and was so touched by his story, that they kept the diary in the Animal Shrine, and those mutual feelings between humans and animals was passed down. Because of those bonds, Animal Town was created, meaning Subaru and Gaou may have had something to do with it. Their classmates then ask how Komugi and Yuki, who had to "transfer", are doing. Mayu returns home and greets Yuki when she remembers when Yuki used to talk to her. Once they get inside, Sumire forms a heart with her hands to imitate the pose of a popular idol.

At the dog run area, Komugi and Daifuku play while Mayu shows Satoru and Iroha the video of the idol singing Smiles In Unison♪ and admires how cute and sparkly they are. However, this causes Yuki to pause the video in jealousy, but Mayu still finds her grumpiness to be cute. She starts taking pictures of Yuki and Iroha is reminded of Takayuki. Mayu then shows Iroha and Satoru some of her pictures and they recognize several of them. They recall the fun they've had over the past year and the animal friends they've made along the way. As Iroha throws the ball to Komugi, she starts feeling bittersweet about everything that's happened. To her, every day was wonderful, and Satoru misses those days too. Iroha, Satoru, and Mayu miss hearing their pets talking, but Iroha especially misses her times as a Cure with Komugi and starts to cry.

As Komugi notices and run towards Iroha, the Mirror Stone glows again and she calls out Iroha's name. She also knocks Iroha over and tells her not to miss her and that they're together forever. Then, Yuki starts speaking again and asks Mayu if she'll listen to her and Mayu gives her a big hug. Back at Niko Garden, Niko is asked if she restored their ability to speak, but she says it's their love for each other that allowed the Mirror Stone to bring it back. She also hopes one day that the humans and animals will build a world where they all live happily. Then, Mey Mey returns through the Kiraniko Trunk and lands on Satoru, but Daifuku kicks him out of the way. Mey Mey explains Niko has allowed him to visit occasionally. Then, to Satoru's surprise, Daifuku starts talking as well, and is glad that he can. Satoru smiles at Daifuku as the two hug. Iroha starts to cry again because she has so much to say to Komugi, but she can say it any time because she and Komugi will always be together.

Iroha and Komugi then run through a field and jump into the air, declaring that from now on, it will be wonderful forever!

• The original ending was replaced with Wonderful Smile.
• The final teaser of Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪ is shown at the end of the episode.
• Per tradition, there is a baton pass message at the end of the episode, this time between the outgoing Cure Wonderful and the incoming Cure Idol.
• The scene where Komugi and Iroha go for a walk is similar to the first scene of the first episode.
• A snippet of Cure Idol performing Smiles In Unison♪ is played on Mayu's phone.
• Iroha, Mayu, and Satoru switch back to their spring casual outfits in the end of the episode.
