Dear Mom ~A Message From Kokoro~ (お母さんへ ～こころからのメッセージ～ Okāsan e ~Kokoro Kara no Messēji~)? is the 14th episode of Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪ and is the 1032nd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Kokoro's mother has to work despite it being the weekend, and Kokoro sees her off. Kokoro buys her a carnation for Mother's Day and has trouble coming up with a good message for the card, so she drops by Cafe Glitter to get some advice.

Synopsis
Kokoro is sleeping until she wakes up to her phone ringing. She unlocks it and finds out that today is Mother's Day. She finds her mother Ai fiddling with her earrings, asking if she has to work on a Sunday. Ai confirms this, but promises to come home early. In the meantime, she has made breakfast for Kokoro. She leaves as Kokoro's ready to start her day. Going for a walk around Hanamichi Town, Kokoro stumbles across many sales and stores celebrating Mother's Day. She gets carnations from the flower shop and a message card from the shop assistant, thanking her and leaving. She wonders what she'll write on the card.
Meanwhile, at Cafe Glitter, it's closed. The girls and Tanaka are busy working on something until Uta is shocked to see Kokoro come in. The group hides what they've been up to. Uta awkwardly asks Kokoro how she's doing, to which Kokoro replies she wanted to get some advice from her friends. She stares at her own reflection in a cup of coffee, thinking very hard about her situation. Kokoro assumes Uta would sing to her mother, so Uta does just that with Nana responding to the verses. While Kokoro enjoys this, Nana suggests she think of a time Kokoro's heart went Kyun-Kyun. They converse about Kokoro's most special memories. Kokoro, appreciating this, finishes her drink and leaves. Uta hopes Kokoro can get her feelings across, while Nana is glad their surprise for Kokoro is safe.
Purirun is curious about Mother's Day, so the girls explain it to her. Nana asks about Purirun and Meroron's mothers, to which Tanaka steps in to explain they don't have any parents since they are born from a tree in KirakiLand out of a music note. The girls appaluse and Nana admires how much of a fairytale this sounds. Unfortunately, Meroron doesn't seem to be happy.
Meanwhile, Kokoro is in deep thought, walking across the streets and thinking of her childhood. She remembers one time where she waved goodbye to her friend and was picked up by her mother. Ai hugged her and apologized for being late, though her daughter wasn't upset. They then went home together, holding hands. Kokoro asked what was for dinner along the way. In the present, Kokoro has the perfect idea to pick her mother up from work. Meanwhile, at Team Chokkiri's hideout, Cutty continues to watch Idol's performance until Chokkirine questions him. Cutty quickly stops the video, mentioning today is Mother's Day. Chokkirine thinks it's a chance to gather some Kirakira, so Zakkuri volunteers and heads out. Cutty sighs.
While Kokoro is still planning, Zakkuri appears, eager to fulfill Chokkirine's goal. Just as Kokoro sees her mother, Zakkuri turns the latter into a Kurayaminda based on a birthday cake. Kokoro is horrified, so she transforms. Zakkuri orders the Kurayaminda to attack, to which Kyun-Kyun runs forth to save her mother. She avoids the monster's attacks as it shoots cream at her. She struggles greatly and is rendered helpless, until her comrades step in to save her. Kyun-Kyun is relieved, but tells them about her mother being trapped. Idol declares that they have to save Ai, so she and Wink go on the offensive. They soar into the sky and Wink summons her barrier. Unfortunately, with Zakkuri being cocky, it's difficult for them too.
Zakkuri and the Kurayaminda dance together until Kyun-Kyun has had enough. Zakkuri orders the Kurayaminda to fight back, and in the process, Kyun-Kyun reflects on how much her mother put her heart and soul into caring for her. This allows her to fight and dodge the monster easily, especially with her friends' help as Wink protects her from another attack. The fairies anticipate this. Kyun-Kyun is given the okay to go all out as she and her teammates all attack at once. Purirun cheers except for Meroron. The Makkuranda is annoyed, so it slams Idol and Wink against a building with its cream only to be attacked by Kyun-Kyun's lasers. She tries to overpower it, screaming from the top of her lungs. Purirun cheers her on while Meroron is completely mesmerized. Unfortunately, the Kurayaminda starts to outweigh Kyun-Kyun. She thinks dearly about Ai and most of all, her father Shinji's death, who she was completely stricken by and comforted by Ai.
Kyun-Kyun has so many things she wants to say, leaving Zakkuri shocked. Idol gathers up a lot of energy and screams for Kyun-Kyun's support. Pressing the Idol Heart Brooch, Kyun-Kyun confesses she loves her mother as she successfully renders the monster's attacks null and evaporated. It flies backwards, allowing the Cures to purify it with High Emotion. With Ai saved, a dark purple Kirarun Ribbon appears and Purirun uses it to please the crowd. Zakkuri admits Kokoro's story is a sad one before retreating.
Ai wakes up on a bench, realizing the time and rushing home. The Cures eavesdrop and are grateful to have helped each other. Idol and Wink tell Kyun-Kyun to hurry home, which she agrees to. Detransforming along the way, Kokoro enters her house, calling out to her mother and grandparents. Just then, the lights turn on, with everyone wishing her a happy birthday. Kokoro walks up to her family and friends, having completely forgotten about her own special day as well. It's revealed Ai ordered appetizers from Cafe Glitter, and Uta told Ai she wanted to hold a party.
Kokoro's then given a present from her friends, receiving a Pretty Up Fragrance to match the ones her friends have, and the Idol Pretty Cure Debut Single from her family. Kokoro thanks her mother and learns Ai knew she admired the Idol Pretty Cure. Kokoro then lends her the card and carnation. Kokoro explains what she really wanted to do today, but it didn't work out well. However, Ai is the most happy having Kokoro with her like this, as she is the treasure of their family. Ai remembers when Kokoro was an infant, and tells Kokoro that Shinji is watching over them, at all times, wherever they go. They hug each other with everyone emotional from the scene.
Purirun senses her Kokoro and Ai's Kirakira in the process, with Meroron thanking her for everything she does as they hold hands. Kokoro and Ai laugh together before Uta gets the Pretty Toy Camera to take a picture. The group photo is then taken, with the card being shown with the following message:
"Dear Mom, Thank you for everything. I love you!! From Kokoro♡"
