Memories With Mom (お母さんとの思い出 Okāsan to no Omoide)? is the 17th episode of Meitantei Pretty Cure! and is the 1084th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Seeing the client and their child reminds Anna of her own mother. On her way out to do some shopping to clear her head, she is approached by Kurea, who invites her to Patisserie ChuChu. Seeing Anna's state, Kurea offers to bake a cake for her.

Synopsis
After solving a case to find a lost bunny plush toy, Anna feels sad watching Nami leave with her mother. Still feeling down at the CUREtto Detective Agency, Anna offers to buy more candy for Jett as an excuse to get a change of scenery. Anna is then approached by Howa Kurea who invites her to stop by at Patisserie ChuChu.
Kurea, who specializes in original cakes, reveals her secret to cake making which is talking to her client and thinking about what sort of cake to make before she starts. Kurea then offers to make a cake for Anna. Meanwhile, Mikuru decides to do strength training in order to become a partner Anna can depend on. Back at Patisserie ChuChu, Kurea asks Anna what color comes to mind, and Anna remembers a snowy day she spent with her mother.
Kurea invites Anna to try making the cake with her, and Anna, using her Pre-Kit Gloss, transforms into a patissier and helps Kurea. At the Phantom Thieves' Guild, Goemon persuades Luluka to join him in searching for the Makoto Jewel by promising to buy her ice cream. Sometime later, Kurea finishes decorating the cake, with the finished product being a snow-white, fluffy birthday cake, identical to the one Anna's mother had bought for Anna in 1999. Anna confides in Kurea about her regret at not being able to eat her birthday cake and her loneliness at not being able to see her mother. Hearing this, Kurea tells her to treasure her "inner spark" that reveals a person's true self, and gently explains that she makes sweets to make people smile.
Just then, Anna receives a call from Mikuru, and Kurea sends her off with a smile, allowing Anna to rush off to the park. Goemon is there, holding the bunny plush toy Anna had found for Nami earlier. The bunny plush toy contains a Makoto Jewel, which Goemon uses to transform into an Hanninda. Answer and Mystique confront the formidable Hanninda. Arcana Shadow also appears, but Answer and Mystique combine their strength and successfully purify the Hanninda.
After seeing off Nami and her mother, who once again holds the bunny plush toy, Anna returns to Patisserie ChuChu with Mikuru and Jett, just as Kurea finishes updating the cake. Anna is thrilled when she sees the cake with marzipan figurines of her agency colleagues added to it, and she happily devours the cake with everyone.
